How often should I get my car detailed?

Light scratches and swirls that haven't penetrated the clear coat can typically be fully removed through machine polishing. Deeper scratches may be reduced but not completely eliminated. How long does a detail take?

Paint correction can take 4-8 hours, and ceramic coating takes 4-10 hours depending on the level. Large vehicles like SUVs and trucks may take 20-30% longer. We'll give you an accurate estimate when you book.
What's the difference between your packages?
Our Basic Package covers exterior wash, basic interior vacuum, and windows. The Standard Package (most popular) adds deep interior cleaning, light stain removal, deodorizing, and paint wax. The Premium Package includes everything plus leather conditioning, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, and premium paint sealant with 6-month protection.
Can I add services to a package?
Absolutely! We offer many add-ons including pet hair removal (+$25), engine bay cleaning (+$35), deep stain removal (+$45), leather conditioning (+$30), headlight restoration (+$40), and more. Just let us know what you need when booking.
Do I need to be present during the service?
Not necessarily. Many customers leave their keys and go about their day. However, we do recommend being available at the start for a quick inspection and at the end to review the work and complete payment. If you can't be present, we can coordinate key exchange and payment remotely.
What if it rains on my scheduled day?
For interior-only services, rain isn't an issue. For exterior services, light rain is okay, but heavy rain may require rescheduling. We'll contact you the morning of service if weather looks concerning. We offer flexible rescheduling at no charge for weather-related changes.

Are there extra charges for larger vehicles?
Yes, larger vehicles require more time and materials. SUVs and trucks typically incur an additional $20-40 charge depending on size. We'll provide an exact quote when you book. Oversized vehicles (extended vans, large trucks) may cost more.
Do you charge for travel?
No travel fees within our standard 20-mile service radius from Westlake, Ohio. For locations beyond 20 miles, a small travel fee may apply based on distance. We'll let you know upfront if this applies to your location.
Is there a rush fee for same-day service?

What's the difference between wax and ceramic coating?

Ceramic coating provides 1-5 years of protection with superior scratch resistance, hydrophobic (water-beading) properties, and chemical protection. Ceramic coating bonds to your clear coat at a molecular level, creating a harder, more durable protective layer. How long does ceramic coating last?
Depending on the product and care, our ceramic coatings last 1, 3, or 5 years. The 5-year coating includes annual maintenance visits. Longevity depends on proper washing techniques and parking conditions. We provide detailed care instructions and offer maintenance packages.
Can ceramic coating be applied to any vehicle?
Almost any vehicle can receive ceramic coating, but the paint must be in good condition first. We always perform paint correction before ceramic coating to ensure the best results. Heavily oxidized or damaged paint may require extensive correction first, which adds to the cost and time.
What's paint correction and do I need it?
Paint correction removes swirls, scratches, oxidation, and other imperfections through machine polishing. If your paint looks dull, has visible swirls under light, or has light scratches, you'll benefit from correction. We always do paint correction before ceramic coating to ensure a perfect finish. Most vehicles 2-3+ years old benefit from at least Stage 1 correction.
